A Brief History

In 1982, Markville Toyota opened its doors as the management of a large Japanese dealership network, Yokohama Toyopet, recognised the advantages of a presence in the North American segment of the automotive market. After considering many alternatives and working closely with C.M.I. (Canadian Motor Industries), Yokohama Toyopet established a dealership in Canada at the Northern-most border of Metropolitan Toronto.

• As we grow, meeting and exceeding our customer's expectations remains a paramount importance. Growth on this scale, coupled with ongoing changes in our guests needs, demands that we constantly monitor all aspects of our business and implement improvements whenever possible. Some of the more notable improvements we have made over the years include: Relocation of our bodyshop to an offsite, advanced facility.
• Purchase and implementation of an offsite vehicle preparation centre.
• Construction of a brand new state of the art 55,000 square foot facility, completed July 2005

Today, Markville Toyota continues to enjoy a reputation as one of Canada's most respected Toyota dealers.
