Toyota Safety Sense 3.0.
Toyota's suite of active safety technologies, is standard on 2023 Corolla Cross models and incorporates upgrades made possible by system sensors with increased detection capacity. In some settings, the Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection can also detect motorcyclists. When making a turn or while approaching an intersection, the system is meant to identify forward or laterally approaching oncoming vehicles and, in certain scenarios, delivers audio/visual alerts and automatic braking. Lane Departure Alert with its Steering Assist and Lane Tracing Assist function better with improved lane identification.
Other standard safety features, in addition to the TSS 3.0 system, include Blind Spot Monitor (BSM), which has been designed to detect and quickly warn you of approaching vehicles or located in the adjacent lanes, as well as Rear Cross Traffic Alert, which helps detect vehicles approaching from both sides while backing out and alerts you with a visual and audible warning. HAC (Hill Start Assist Control) is also standard.
